Not a lot of turnover in Topeka
The 2014 legislative elections in Kansas didn’t see much turnover compared with other states. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, only eight states had lower turnover than the Kansas House’s 12.8 percent, or 16 of 125 seats. The change ranged from Maine’s 44.4 percent to Georgia’s 7.8 percent, averaging 21.1 percent nationally. – Rhonda Holman
