After seeing President Obama give his speech on gun control, I would rather vote for his re-election than for any of these clowns who are running.
How many tears have you seen Obama shed over our wounded and fallen soldiers? Think about it. It’s all about his agenda.
When it comes to executive orders, I’ll take the word of a constitutional law professor who lives in the White House over that of any of the half-dozen gynecologists in Congress who think the Earth is flat.
We need Obama control, not gun control.
Have you anti-gun nuts noticed that whenever your president says anything about guns, gun sales increase dramatically? Doesn’t it make you think that he just might be a closet NRA member?
I consider myself a courteous person and value manners highly. With that being said, we need a president who isn’t afraid to stand up for America.
Forget ISIS, Iran, Putin and the loony Donald Trump. We need to wake up to the juggernaut that is the Koch network and its attempt to force its libertarian views on everyone. Its mantra is smaller government and its proving ground has been Kansas. How is that working for us?
Why aren’t the media and law enforcement referring to the Oregon occupiers as “terrorists”? They were armed and took over federal property. Yet police shoot unarmed minorities. Can you imagine what would happen if black people took over even a porta-potty? Can you say “white privilege”?
If SUVs and huge pickup trucks can go anywhere, anytime, anyplace, as we’ve been shown in so many commercials, why have so many of their owners and their families drowned after intentionally driving into high water? Mother Nature still demands a little respect.
Don’t even cry about a revenue shortage until Kansas changes the law on delinquent property taxes. Make the penalty more severe and reduce the time before foreclosure. The fact that these people can slide for years and then pay a little interest is ridiculous.
There were no losers in Allen Fieldhouse Monday, but there was a clear winner. The Big 12 Conference put on the best game ever, in prime time, with a national TV audience. Simply fantastic.
It is time for Dick Vitale to retire from sports announcing – especially KU basketball games.
