So, since when did every sentence have to begin with “so”?


If you want to see and feel what future Kansas highways will be like, drive down Woodlawn from 13th to Central or 13th from Woodlawn to Oliver – just two of many in Wichita. Write the governor about the robbery of highway funds.


Someone tried to defend Republican support for Donald Trump by asking why Democrats weren’t embarrassed by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or Barack Obama. Last time I looked, none of them was rude, crude or married to someone who’d posed in the nude.


2015 has left. How’d another year of “hope and change” work out for you?


The first family’s vacations have now cost taxpayers more than $70 million. Don’t you all wish you could have just a small part of the action?


The only thing I see with the Syrian refugees are people capable of blowing themselves up and doing damage in the name of their religion. Why don’t these people stay home and fight for their country?


“We never had to defend the mainland in World Wars I and II”? What about the enemy submarines off our coasts, the manning of gun emplacements around port cities, the camouflaging of industrial sites, or the use of military tribunals for spies or saboteurs who made it to our mainland?


I don’t know who is the more detestable, Bill Cosby or Bill Clinton.


I saw Bill Cosby in Dodge City several years back. He captivated the audience for two hours. All he did was talk. He was funny and gracious. What a dark side he must possess.


Our county commissioners need to explain to the taxpayers why we are giving tax dollars to Wichita Area Technical College and it is hosting concerts, basketball tournaments, etc. Next thing we’ll hear is that WATC wants a sports team like a real college.


Ron Baker grew up in a small Kansas town, as did I, and he’s all-American in my book just for not succumbing to the idiocy of tattoos.


This retail worker thanks all those customers who bother to get off their cellphones while I’m serving them. I appreciate being treated like a fellow human, the same way I try to treat you. Respect should be mutual. I’m not a robot.
