I wish the media would quit mentioning how low the gas prices are. Every time they say something, prices go up. Just keep quiet.
How sad that Wichita has lost two pieces of its history. The Sheplers name is gone, and the unique architecture of the Sauder-Lygrisse building has been lost due to road construction.
I must have missed it. Where did the first family attend Christmas church services?
Bowe Bergdahl had better hope his court-martial is completed during Obama’s tenure, so the president can influence its outcome and save face. Imagine trading five senior terrorists for a deserter.

If you are ashamed of Bill Clinton because of his morals, then you can’t vote for foul-mouthed, guttersnipish, serial divorcer, equal-opportunity insulter Trump for commander in chief. Trump makes Bill Clinton look pretty honorable these days.
The Democrats and news media are in bed together. They know that if they keep Trump at the top of the charts, and the rest of the candidates off in the corner, it will be Hillary versus Trump. He won’t have a chance and she will win.
Kansas House Speaker Ray Merrick will continue to consolidate his power until his enemies have been vanquished and his opponents have been silenced. He will breed fear of retribution until no one opposes him. He is Machiavelli’s prince.
What our insane Republican leaders do in this state, insane Democrats do in others. They have the same playbook.
Regarding the phrase “Happy New Year”: When the “year” runs out of “happy,” is that when it stops being “new”?
