KLA endorses Marshall over Huelskamp

The Kansas Livestock Association endorsed Roger Marshall, a Great Bend physician who is running against U.S. Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Fowler/Hutchinson, in the GOP primary next August. Last election, neither the KLA nor the Kansas Farm Bureau’s political action committee endorsed Huelskamp, who lost his seat on the House Agriculture Committee; nor did they endorse his GOP opponent. This election, KLA decided to endorse Marshall early “to help him gain support.” – Phillip Brownlee
