I’m fed up to the ears with old men dreaming up wars for young men and women to die in.

The only way to stop bad guys with guns is for good guys to have guns, and not be afraid to use them.

You may have a right to bear arms. You do not have a right to brandish that weapon in a threatening way. And, for sure, you do not have a right to shoot that weapon at someone. The right to bear arms comes with a heavy responsibility.

If the Republicans go to their convention without a clear-cut winner and it becomes a brokered convention, look for Paul Ryan to be the choice.

I watched Saturday night’s exciting Democratic debate, and came away with a sense of relief that the future of the country is in good hands. Rarely have we had the opportunity to elect a more qualified, honest, genuine, caring leader than Hillary Clinton.

I was thinking perhaps the price of oil may not be due to the U.S. producing more, but that OPEC may be secretly subsidizing our oil stores to keep the revenue out of the hands of terrorists.

I’m convinced Obama’s cap and trade program will experience no fraud or waste, accomplish exactly what it intends in short order, require no bureaucrats to administer, and cost taxpayers nothing – just like the rest of our government programs.

The smartest financial minds aren’t choosing solar to power their operations because it makes good business sense. They do it for the market-distorting tax incentives and to keep the green-energy Nazis away.

The Paris climate meeting captured Obama’s legacy, all right – meaningless and unpopular.

There is no contractual agreement with the government for your Social Security benefits to be paid. Read all the information, including the fine print. Quit complaining and save some money. Social Security was never meant to pay for your retirement.

If we are a family values country, why do we not have something as important as paid family leave? This is the bonding time that should be the basis and platform for the formation of a family. Please ask your congressmen to support a law guaranteeing paid family leave.

Steve Harvey just said what I was thinking. Miss Colombia was the winner.
