Why would anyone vote for a presidential candidate who would continue the agenda that two-thirds of the population think is in the wrong direction?

I notice the GOP presidential candidates say that “we need to put boots on the ground” instead of saying, “We’re going to send your sons and daughters to war in a foreign country.”

The mean-spirited, zero-tolerant humor of comedians like Tina Fey will forever strike fear into the Republicans whenever they dare toy with the idea of running a woman for higher office. How dare a woman be a Republican or a conservative.

Congratulations to the Republicans for refusing to cave in to the radical Christian extremists. They left funding for Planned Parenthood intact and refused to add anti-choice measures to the approved spending bill.

“Political correctness” has worked marvelously well as a tool for the left.

The sun is shining in Gov. Sam Brownback’s Kansas. Have you been burned enough?

What is the address to send my car bill to Brownback, since he is stealing highway repair funds for the sake of his tax-free business friends?

If you really want the thrill of toting a shooting iron everywhere, volunteer as a cowboy at Cowtown, but stay within its confines.

All gun violence is already illegal. The big shootings in the news are used as excuses to further restrict our rights.

Why is it that I can spot multiple housing code violations (some of which have been the same for decades), yet the city can’t seem to find them? They’re not hidden, just ignored, and I bet they wouldn’t be there in a wealthier neighborhood.

When someone throws a cigarette butt out the window, I need an app on my phone to look up their address so I can drive to their house and throw some trash in their neighborhood.

Regarding a complaint about “idiot drivers” who think there is a benefit to using headlights during daytime storms: The idiot is the person who does not know that it is the law that you must have your headlights on when it is raining.

It’s not only the law to have your headlights on during rain, fog, snow, etc. It’s common sense that headlights make a car easier to see when vision is impaired by weather.
