As the progressive liberals and fragile millennials prepare to celebrate pagan rituals and the winter solstice, I would like to wish them all a very merry Christmas.
Weird, isn’t it? Ted Cruz was born outside the United States, and Barack Obama wasn’t.
Donald Trump is saying the things that need to be said. He is saying the things that the other candidates are afraid to say. He is our man for 2016.
All you politically correct phonies who are “appalled” at Trump know that his plan is exactly what we need to do. You are so afraid of offending the ruling establishment that has already ruined this country. Are you satisfied with the way things are? Man up, you wimps.
It has been said that the secret to successful negotiating is to take the ego out of the equation. If you operate on ego alone, you have little to negotiate with, and that poses a problem for the majority of our presidential candidates.
The historic climate accord in Paris firmly cements President Obama’s legacy as possibly our greatest president. Future generations will celebrate Dec. 12, 2015, as the day he saved the planet.
Columnist Cal Thomas’ ignorance of actual climate science is so good he could be a Republican presidential candidate.
I take back my previous comment. Cal Thomas for president, Richard Ranzau for veep.
There is something wrong with a criminal justice system that convicts a mother of murdering her 10-year-old son instead of finding her insane. What other explanation could there be?
Hospitals talk a good game about their “quiet initiatives” (Dec. 12 Eagle). But on the unit where I work, they just added a new phone feature that loudly and repeatedly beeps every nurse and every nurse aide on the floor every time a patient gets out of bed.
The social lives of nurses and others stationed near rooms in which stress and pain are being monitored was not mentioned in the article. To be in pain and have to listen to flirting, jokes and family stories adds mightily to the irritation of beeping devices.
Deep down you know you love Christmas sweaters. Why else would you keep having “Ugly Christmas Sweater” parties just so you could wear one? Hold your head high and wear your sweaters every day.
What happened to commercials not being louder than the show you’re watching? Wasn’t there a law passed to change that?
I understand why Wichita drivers don’t leave here much. If they did, they would be an accident waiting to happen elsewhere.
I wish idiot drivers would stop pretending that there is a “benefit” to having lights on in the day because it’s raining. Wet isn’t dark.
