President Obama exercised his free speech to tell us how he was going to defeat ISIS. When he was done, I felt like he owed me change.

I’m not afraid of terrorists in this country. What is really scary are the people who think Donald Trump would be a good president.

House Speaker Paul Ryan’s actions prove why Trump is so popular. People don’t necessarily love Trump, but he’s far better than loathsome sellouts like Ryan.

If Trump is elected, I wonder where he will build the coliseum. After all, Emperor Trump will need a place to sacrifice all those expendable immigrants and refugees.

Following the Constitution means doing so at all times, not just when it is convenient to do so.

Regarding “Every Student Succeeds Act is new disaster” (Dec. 17 Opinion): People like John Richard Schrock will never be happy with any system that holds teachers accountable.

The war on guns will always fail when citizens realize, “Hey, maybe I need one to protect my family.”

You want to curb my Second Amendment rights? I will agree to that if we can curb your First Amendment rights. If you start messing with any amendments, where will it end?

Wheaton College’s suspension of tenured associate professor Larycia Hawkins was a gross violation of academic freedom and an example of extreme bigotry. Hawkins’ crime? To say that Muslims and Christians worship the same God.

It was not a judge, president or king who decided Baltimore police officer William Porter’s fate, but his fellow citizens. That they could not come to a conclusion means they deliberated seriously. Kudos to them all.
