Gas prices went up 20 cents. There must have been a story about low gas prices in the paper.
The CNN presidential debate was a total disaster. It turned into a Rubio versus Cruz debate.
I’m sick of debates where they can rudely interrupt and disrespect the moderator. Let the moderator control the microphones so the only one who can speak is the one called on. To do otherwise continues the chaotic disrespect in politics today.
Why are both the donkeys and RINOs so upset about Donald Trump? The three leading Democrat candidates and at least half of the RINO horde are all big jerks, too. Could it be that they are worried about an outsider winning?

Folks, we are already at war. Only two outcomes are possible: win or lose. We sacrifice more lives if we are led to lose.

In response to a comment referring to Iowa as “Idiots Out Wandering About”: Having lived in both states, I can confidently say that there are the same amount of idiots in Kansas.
The City Council voted to raise water rates, which support the H2O (Help to Others) program. I didn’t know the council made it a practice to raise our service fees so that the city in turn can give our money to charity. Don’t rob my pockets to do your donations.
Congress need to pass a law that makes the six media groups that control the news tell the truth or at least give us the full story. The six groups always try to shut down a radio station that tells you what is really going on.
Bill Cosby has filed suit against seven of the women who have accused him of sexual assault. I am not sure if we file this under “defense” or “delusion.”
Please bring back the old crossword puzzle. Every morning I used to enjoy working the puzzle, but I can’t seem to get the hang of these new ones. It has upset my entire day. I surely am not the only person who doesn’t like these new ones.
My right hand is raised (Dec. 16 Opinion Line). Bring back the user-friendly daily Cryptoquip. The new ones are totally ridiculous.
I am herewith raising my right hand in support of the return of the daily Cryptoquip. Its current absence is a terrible thing.
