Abortions in the U.S. are at an all-time low. Thank you to all the pro-life groups, Planned Parenthood and Obamacare for making it happen.


Much has been in the news lately about the radicalized couple who killed 14 in California. The radicalized couple that have done far more damage are the National Rifle Association and Congress.


President Obama seems to be the biggest recruitment “tool” used by ISIL.


I do not trust and will not vote for anybody for any office from either party who refers to ISIS as “ISIL.” God bless Israel.


Our governor is totally right by not expanding Medicaid. After three years the feds could come back and say to states: “We are running over budget and cannot help you anymore.” And there you are, stuck with the plan and expense.


It stands to reason that Gov. Sam Brownback wants no discussion on changes to the tax law. He is afraid that reasoned debate will expose its causation of budget problems and his arguments of its success.


If we asked every agency what they need from tax dollars to adequately fund what is needed in our state and then lifted the sales tax to cover it, what would be our tax rate? Would this appease everyone?


With Valassis closing and resulting in more jobs and people leaving town, you have to admit these economic development teams aren’t overachievers.


The decision of which woman is going to be put on the $10 bill should be delayed until we find out if Hillary Clinton is elected our first female president.


Do you want Clinton to be our next president? Then by all means continue to support the Donald Trump, the clown. How can that many people be that blind?


For the writer wondering where to sit and watch the wheels come off the wagon: Just watch the GOP convention.
