The Second Amendment just isn’t working anymore.

The president suggests our freedom will defeat ISIS but he wants to eliminate the Second Amendment, which is the only thing keeping us from a full Paris-style assault.

The writers of the Second Amendment had just participated in a long-shot, but successful, revolution against one of the mightiest nations in the world at that time. Taking that amendment literally today is ridiculously out of context.

Allowing concealed guns on Kansas college campuses would give people in the area of a deranged shooter a fighting chance. Do you still believe a “gun-free zone” is going to stop someone bent on killing?

I suggest that the next time you see a crime being committed, you draw your weapon. Then we can see whom the police shoot first – you or the criminal.

Watch all these women fail to qualify to serve in combat after stating a woman can do what a man can do. Also, the draft of women should be put on the fast track and the sexes in the service equalized. It’s time to stop their free ride.

Bowe Bergdahl isn’t a sergeant. He’s a private first class. He got his promotions while being a traitor and deserter in Afghanistan. He should be in Leavenworth, not giving interviews.

Donald Trump is no longer amusing, and his breath of hot air has become foul.

If you want a wartime president, “the Donald” is your man.

I agree with Bob Dole: Ted Cruz is just as bad as Trump.

Hillary Clinton is just as radical and irrational as the president.

Maybe Obama needs to consult with the Weather Channel on how to defeat ISIS.

Since we can be energy independent with the new oil found in the USA and from our friendly neighbors in North America, why are we buying and importing oil from the Middle East that funds al-Qaida and ISIS?

Only we, the people, can stop the greed of parking profit around Intrust Bank Arena by using the shuttles that are provided. So why not try next time a big event takes place, and show these money grabbers we won’t put up with them?

Every day I have to avoid being hit by the dumbest drivers in history. I cannot believe there are not a hundred wrecks a day.
