Let’s have a sales tax to build prisons, and to hire the guards to lock up these criminals and throw away the key. The individual in New York who killed the two cops had been arrested 19 times in 10 years.

The current “protesters” look like nothing more than “Occupy” leftovers.

Our president and the mayor of New York have sown racial animus and promoted a culture of violence in “people of color.” Their foolish words have widened the divide between people of African-American descent and the police. This president’s greatest success is widening the chasm between the haves and have-nots.

Eric Holder and the Obamas are hypersensitive, mistakenly perceiving racial slights and bigotry in all sorts of innocuous events.

You’re a good man, Barack Obama. Don’t let the jerks grind you down.

Did the fact that more than 140 high school students in Pakistan were murdered wake up the protesters in the U.S.? Go home and pray. It’s easier than stomping the streets and acting out what you cannot fix.

The cause of most of the murder and mayhem in the world is organized religion.

If the CIA had not waterboarded those terrorists and a second wave had killed 3,000 more in Los Angeles, we would be hearing the liberals screaming, “Why wasn’t the information forced out of them?”

The gutless people who are complaining about the so-called CIA torture of terrorists are the same people who would dig a hole and hide before they would defend this country against any kind of terrorist attack.

Even though Gov. Sam Brownback’s incompetence and duplicity become more apparent every day, here’s betting the Republicans who voted for him would still do so today. Kansas is doomed to become another backwater state.

It’s amusing to hear arguments against global warming from people like Rep. Dennis Hedke. He uses scientific evidence from 10,000 years ago when many of his party believe that the Earth is only 6,000 years old. They even built a museum around this theory.

I need someone to detail the difference between a driver’s license and a driving permit for illegals. The powers that be seem to think there is a difference. Either way, people who shouldn’t even be here will legally drive. Just let them illegally drive.

If you have your lights on in the daytime you are an idiot. Lights on in the daytime are supposed to warn that there’s a speed trap ahead.

There have been a few opinions in The Eagle lately on GMO crops, their safety and positive aspects. Do your research before believing those comments. Search the Internet on “dangers of GMO foods” and then decide for yourself.

It takes a lot of nerve for KSU to schedule a basketball game at Intrust Bank Arena when it refuses to schedule Wichita State.
