Listening to a progressive complain about the high cost of Obamacare is like listening to a burglar who got his leg caught in a chimney.

The case for progressive taxation is found in regressive taxation.

People who whine about political correctness just want an excuse to be rude so that their behavior appears to be normal. It’s not. It is still rude, classless behavior.

“Safe spaces.” Is that a politically correct place for people to go cringe in the corner and suck their thumbs? A lot of people seem to be doing that lately. Given what passes for government, that might not be such a bad idea.

The public has every right to see video from police body cameras without delay. The ugly and often illegal behavior of the rogue officers won’t stop until they face the reality of instant exposure.

My father loved me enough to teach me to respect authority of the law. He said I should address an officer with “sir” and we could deal with it later. Right or wrong, it was not worth the risk to argue. I am 76, retired and happy.
