Donald Trump is an embarrassment to the United States of America. His candidacy for president is meritless. Period.
How is that “If you like your health care, you can keep your health care” promise working out for you?
If there were only a little bit of poison in a product, the government would demand a total recall. Now we have terrorists, and Obama would fight any recall tooth and nail. Why?
The ultimate dead-end job – terrorist.
Hey, global warmers, it’s the predicted El Nino, not Armageddon.
To all those who want to disarm us: If you’re that passionate about it, then change the Constitution. What’s that? You know it would never pass in a million years? Right. That’s why you try every sneaky, illegal method to make us a nation of unarmed sheep.
When a carload of NRA members get stuck in traffic, they think more cars are the answer.
Why can’t people just speak the truth without the media going into a feeding frenzy backlash? That’s what is so wrong with our country – everybody is trying to sugarcoat everything instead of just stating the truth about what is really going on and what needs to happen.
Regarding “Efficiency experts promise big savings in Kansas” (Dec. 9 Eagle): It seems to me that the state of Kansas paid $2.6 million for instruction on how to hold a garage sale. Woo-hoo.
Somehow I bet this efficiency study is another case of robbing Peter to pay Paul for temporary gain designed to cover our Legislature’s and governor’s patooties for the year – and an effort to downsize even more agencies in preparation for massive privatization.
How does anyone “mistakenly” vote in two different states in the same election? I don’t believe that for a minute.
Most legislators get something or other for being lobbied, but ours pay to be lobbied by the American Legislative Exchange Council – with our money. That’s how it is when they can’t think for themselves.
How can Sen. Pat Roberts presume to represent the people of Kansas when he doesn’t even live here and hasn’t for years? He only visits during election years. Vote these people out.
Shop around and get prices when mailing packages. One place said $57.43 and we shipped it elsewhere at $19.57. Some rip-off.
Don’t perpetuate the lie. We never told our children that Santa Claus was real. We just enjoyed giving gifts. You won’t have to break a heart telling your child, “Now don’t believe in him.”
Grouchy people are just grouchy people – worse when you age. Only you can control your attitude.
