College Republicans condemn Trump’s hateful proposals

The Kansas Federation of College Republicans objects to the “violent and hateful anti-Muslim proposals Donald Trump has made,” as well as Trump’s past comments about “war heroes, women, immigrants and those who are disabled.” Federation chairman and Wichita State University student Dalton Glasscock issued a statement this week saying that Trump’s “blatant disregard for our founding documents and the dignity of individuals is contrary to everything we stand for as a party and as a nation.” The statement concluded: “We are the land of the free and home of the brave so long as we are brave enough to be free.” – Phillip Brownlee
