Bad timing, Wichita gasoline retailers – raising the price at the pump on the same day oil drops more than $2 per barrel.

No longer ride a city bus because it’s no longer there? Have to look at tall weeds and grass on city property? Have to drive on poor roads and bridges? Wonder where potable water will come from? What do you think of the City Council and mayor raising their own wages?

There is a simple solution to prison overcrowding. Just gather up all of the murderers, rapists, child molesters, child killers, pimps, human traffickers, etc., and ship them to Iraqi, Iranian and Afghan prisons. Problem solved.

Bernie Sanders will be our next president.

My wife is watching TV downstairs. At a distance I can’t hear what Donald Trump is saying in his speech, but it scares me. The ranting and the crowd’s response remind me of speeches made by Adolf Hitler.

Trump says ban all Muslims. That sounds exactly like Hitler saying ban all Jews.

In a head-to-head comparison, Donald Trump has more hair than Vladimir Putin and nearly as much ego.

Columnist Davis Merritt, like so many others, is in denial. He simply can’t accept that all of these white-collar, uneducated, low-earning voters are looking out for themselves, and Trump is their choice.

How absurd is it going to get? Obama’s big response to a terrorist attack is to resurrect the meaningless terror alert system.

So if a few Americans want to shred the Constitution and put surveillance on all Muslim Americans, why not take it a step further and shred the Second Amendment while were at it? The guns used in San Bernardino were legally bought.

America without guns is what we just saw in Paris. Weapons of the type used in the massacre were illegal, but were obviously obtained by terrorists. Victims waited helplessly while the police dithered, then launched a rescue.

We might consider listening to gun control fanatics after violent video games such as “Call of Duty” and “Grand Theft Auto” are seized from all citizens. These crazy video games are not protected by any of our amendments.

Several politicians have expressed disagreement with President Obama for his refusal to use the term “Islamic extremist” for ISIS followers. If that is appropriate, then shouldn’t we also refer to Robert Dear, the alleged Planned Parenthood clinic killer, as a “Christian extremist”?

The one and only reason Democrats care about any “victim du jour” group is because they think they represent future Democrat voters.

Only one more year and Obama is gone. I can’t wait until this eight-year mistake is over. Opinion Line whiners, beware: Your monopoly is over.
