If progressive taxation is so evil, why does Warren Buffett’s secretary pay a higher percentage tax than Buffett pays? It seems like the tax code has a major hole protecting the wealthy.

Kansans should be outraged that the taxpayers funded the legislators’ trip to the American Legislative Exchange Council conference. It’s just wrong. Vote Democrat next November.

The American Civil Liberties Union and the politically correct demons are aiding ISIS in their assault of America.

We’re advised to not judge all Muslims by actions of a few lunatics, but we’re encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.

OK, that does it. We can’t stop mass shootings because we simply have too many crazy people in America running around. I was once for reasonable gun control. But it will never stop. I’m ready now to say: Take them all away. When will Wichita have its shooting?

It seems like after every mass shooting, Congress’ solution is thoughts and prayers for the victims. What a bunch of NRA-funded cowards.

How’s that Obama hope and change working for us? Fort Hood, Boston, Chattanooga, San Bernardino. To be continued.

Guns cost everyone in America $750 a year each for hospital bills, wages lost, disability, counseling, life insurance, courts, prison, lawyers, burials, investigation, police and other costs I am missing.

“The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” What part of that do you not understand? By the way, it says nothing of firearms specifically.

On “Meet the Press,” Jeb Bush spoke clearly: If elected, he plans to drag America into more wars, just as his brother did. Jeb believes this warrior stance is now his only chance to gain the White House. I hope America sends Jeb a clear message that enough is enough.

“Some churches” are helping Syrian refugees. I guess they are above the law. Does this mean they are taking them into their homes and paying for their needs? Last I knew, churches don’t even pay taxes. Lower-income Americans are paying. We should be helping our veterans.

I have paid for a premium health care insurance policy for years from a well-known company. Now I am told my monthly payment will go up by $36 per month. Thanks for the help, Obamacare.

If Hillary Clinton is elected president, America will slide from the toilet into the sewer.

The government always sends out the jobs-added report but never says how many jobs were lost. They make it sound so great. They should say how many were lost and added, so we would really see how things were going.

I am pretty sure that KU’s basketball team can beat WSU, and it might even be possible for KU’s football team to beat WSU.
