Opinion Line Extra (Dec. 23)

I agree with my demonstrating brothers and sisters. There must be more than 100 countries with nicer police and better justice. If you leave now, you can celebrate the new year and your new freedom at the same time.

Want to reduce racial tensions in America? The first step would be to get Al Sharpton out of the White House.

Two New York cops are murdered by a self-appointed avenger of the unarmed blacks killed by police, and old pot-stirring Al Sharpton claims his hands are clean. A couple weeks ago he’s egging on the rioters, and now he claims to be the one calling for cool heads to prevail.

Where have the demonstrators with the “Black lives matter” T-shirts and signs been when tens of thousands of Africans have died from starvation, Ebola and genocide? Is it just black American lives that matter?

There is a substantial decrease in the number of people enrolling in law school. Maybe they see Obama ignore this country’s Constitution, its laws and the will of its citizens and they ask, why bother?

So, Obama wishes Sony had talked to him before it acted. Just like he confers with Congress before he acts? Not.

If Al Gore’s green initiative companies won’t kill us, his Internet invention will.

The more I listen to President Obama and see his accomplishments – despite Republican blocks – the more I admire and respect him.

I personally believe that Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are the real sponsors of state terrorism.

You can bet that Obama has an agenda with Cuba. He isn’t doing this for the good of the people . He needs more allies on his side for the next war he is getting us into.

There are but two chances that a President Romney would normalize relations with a Cuba – fat and slim. English is a funny language, where a fat chance and a slim chance are the same.

Looking at the pictures of the Cuban streets and all the old cars ought to energize car collector buffs to head there and purchase them for import to the U.S. for restoration.

If you like what Gov. Sam Brownback is doing to our state’s economy and his deficit plan, you will love what the Republican-controlled U.S. House and Senate are going to do starting in January.

With Kansas’ budget problems, Arthur Laffer must have neglected to tell Brownback the “Yellow Brick Road” was painted paving bricks, not gold bars. It also adds credence to the old adage, “figures don’t lie but liars do figure.”

Gentlemen appearing on local TV shows dress impeccably. Office attire should also be the norm for the ladies. Save the skintight jeans and denim shirts for housecleaning or shopping.
