What business do our county commissioners have commenting on world events? I’m disappointed I must once again remind them to focus on their main duties.

What a terrible bunch of clowns (sorry, clowns) we have as the Sedgwick County Commission. Worse yet – you voted for them.

Social Security payments will have no inflation adjustment for 2016. Our annual 2016 medical insurance premiums will increase $729, and Medicare drug insurance premiums will increase 25 percent for 2016. Medical costs are a financial fraud with no relationship to costs.

Ben Carson wants to bring back torture. Then he can no longer claim in any way to be Christian. Jesus would never torture.

If you are in favor of keeping Syrian refugees out of the USA, then you cannot call yourself a Christian. Read Matthew 25:31-46.

Why in the world would the Middle Eastern people want to immigrate to this country if we are really the racist, warmongering, homophobic country contended by the media commentators and left-wing politicians?

When Obama parks the 2 mpg beast he rides in and he and his wife stop flying all over the world, then I will worry about climate problems. Until that happens, he can go fly a kite.

Man-made global warming is far from indisputable. The wasteful efforts to influence climate change hurt poor people worse than anyone, and have almost no measurable effect. To top it off, its proponents want to deny opposing opinion, even to the point of advocating punishment.

Obama’s attitude toward the military and police is easy to understand. It’s typical of all authoritarians: They hate and fear the military and the police. Obama would have political officers hanging over the heads of all our people in uniform, just as all totalitarians do.

I predict that all six officers charged in Freddie Gray’s so-called murder in Baltimore will be found not guilty. I also predict that with each trial’s end, the riots will grow in intensity.

I received a couple of calls from the IRS scammers telling me that they were suing me for nonpayment of taxes. I told them I am with the Treasury Department, and we’re coming to send them to prison. I don’t expect any more calls from them.

I hope all of you self-centered people who shopped on Thanksgiving have to work on Thanksgiving from now on. It shouldn’t get to be a holiday for you but be just another workday for the rest of us because of people like you shopping on what should be a holiday.

Another beauty school in Wichita? It would seem the market is saturated with unqualified graduates who have no clue or professionalism, leaving clients to walk out with bad hair experiences.
