For the past few days I thought I was in the Seattle area, with constant rain, gloomy skies, crazy drivers and earthquakes.

I’m a little tired of all the pussyfooting by officials on whether fracking is responsible for these earthquakes. It most certainly is, and the damage to my home in Wichita is apparent in the functioning of the doors, windows, etc.

With all the earthquakes that apparently have been occurring just since all this fracking began, I suggest that the state make the oil and drilling companies, and the property owners who signed the agreements with them, liable for all damages.

We’d all be freezing our behinds off if it weren’t for fossil fuels.

How did the “world leaders” attending the “climate summit” to discuss “carbon emissions” – i.e., one-world government discussions on how to further control people – get there? Did a single one walk?

America’s next civil war: the self-absorbed entitlement socialists versus the hardworking, taxpaying, fed-up patriots.

Another mass shooting in the U.S., and yet the name of the alleged killer is not Muhammad. Just when you thought Karl Peterjohn had it figured out.

I wonder how many Syrian “pilgrims” President Obama is going to take into the spacious White House.

Keep out the young men from Syria who are Muslims. Bring only children, women and old men. Young men are the ones most likely to be radicalized. We need to be protected, and Obama does not care.

After reading The Eagle review of “The Book of Mormon” musical, I wondered what would happen if there were a Quran musical. Would some call it racist and others target the cast with death threats?

Kudos to the Wichita street workers and staff for keeping the main roads free of ice during the storm.

The Shockers have lost three games without Fred VanVleet. I am already dreading next season when both VanVleet and Ron Baker are gone.

The NCAA should award a “participation” trophy to the KU football team. I can’t imagine the psychological damage done to those young Jayhawk players with a complete losing season.
