Rep. Mike Pompeo wants nothing to do with the refugees, while his alma mater wants nothing to do with pillow fights.
Thank goodness I looked under my bed last night. I found a refugee family hiding there. Like a good Brownback Christian, I marched them out to the street at gunpoint.
Note to columnist Davis Merritt: If being nice to crazy terrorists would help our cause, then why didn’t the ill-fated “apology tour” of President Obama make the crazy killers love us? We said we were sorry.
Regarding the comment “Look what happened to the American Indians when they allowed refugees without proper vetting”: There was no “allowing refugees.” They were outnumbered, outgunned and lost the battle, exactly as we could.
It’s typical that the altruistic liberals submitting letters or comments in favor of allowing Syrian refugees into the U.S. don’t volunteer to sponsor the refugees or bring refugees into their homes or extol refugees living on their block. They’re very compassionate as long as it affects someone else.
Once again Obama gets slapped in the face with reality. Once again he discovers there is more to the job than flying around on Air Force One and playing golf. Once again his reaction is disappointing, to say the least.
Obama and his minions have made much about ISIS being a “JV” team. From where I sit, the only JV team is Obama and his staff. That bunch couldn’t find themselves with both hands.
Why is everyone so afraid of an ISIS attack? They killed 130 people in Paris, it’s true. But Americans kill as many – themselves and each other – every three days right here with the same kind of weapons, yet nobody gets their shorts in a twist about that.
If it weren’t for the ignorant and superstitious, there would not be a Republican Party.
Black “leaders” call for this. Black “leaders” call for that. “Latinos” call for this. “Latinos” call for that. Where are white leaders? Oh, yeah. That would be racist.
I vote that MSNBC replace Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton and Chris Matthews with Brian Williams. Maybe it would be as classy as Fox. Oh, I forget – libs don’t like class.
High schoolers should get more leniency on late homework, because getting a zero on one assignment can really hurt your grade. Sometimes we have family issues or simply forget. One late assignment shouldn’t kill my grade.
Congratulations to those who planned and worked on the 21st and Amidon street project. Excellent job.
Driving on Kellogg is like driving on Rainbow Road from “Mario Kart.” Quit with the construction.
Drive the speed limit. If not, stay in a different lane and let people pass.
