Morning Consult, the site whose recent 50-state poll indicated that Sam Brownback was the most unpopular governor in America, found 69 of 100 U.S. senators have approval ratings of 50 percent or higher among their constituents. Unfortunately for Kansas’ Jerry Moran and Pat Roberts, they were among the other 31. Roberts had 41 percent approval, tying for seventh lowest. Moran had 40 percent approval – the sixth lowest in the chamber and hardly good news for someone looking at a re-election campaign next year. The most and least popular of all? Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vt., had 83 percent approval, while Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., was at 37 percent. – Rhonda Holman
