Is it just me, or do those who run away to ISIS to belong to a group willing to kill others seem like gang members?


Obama loves his commander in chief jacket. What he doesn’t love is the responsibility that goes with it.


They are killing Frenchmen in the streets of Paris and the French president is praising Obama for fighting climate change. Duh – wrong crisis. Talk about inmates running the asylum.


How many of those camping out for shopping “deals” would do even half that effort to vote?


Maybe it’s time for a Moderate Party, combining the best, most moderate ideas of the Democratic and Republican parties. That’s probably the only way we’re going to have a functioning government again.


People in this country have a number of rights – free speech, due process, religion and so forth. We do not have the right to not be offended. If you don’t like what is said, don’t listen. “Politically correct” is just another name for censorship.


Sadly for the organizers of the recall petition of County Commission Chairman Richard Ranzau, stupidity is not an offense worthy of recall.


Since Sam Brownback’s parents wouldn’t let him drive the combine, I would be very surprised if they voted for him. They might have, though, realizing he would soon eliminate state taxes on their farm income. Maybe the apple didn’t fall all that far from the tree.


The ultimate narcissist statement: “There is no God.”


“Gas in Wichita falls to $1.84.” The same day I drove by Hutchinson and filled my car for $1.54. Yup, we’re really getting a great deal here.


The modern school system is what’s messing up society. School is so demanding nowadays, with projects and clubs and sports all on top of schoolwork. School puts family on the back burner. Is this what we really want if family is supposed to be the core of society?


I feel that we need to step up our game and have more college credit classes at my high school. It would help us prepare better for our futures.


Teenage apocalypse is going to happen in 2016: Taylor Swift, One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith are all taking a break from music.
