Hillary Clinton is running for Obama’s third term. Her policies are exactly the same as Obama’s.
Terrorists achieve their goals when politicians such as Donald Trump and Ted Cruz spread their intent to make us fearful and divided.
To say that Trump is anti-immigrant is unfair. After all, two of his three wives were immigrants.
The refugees are coming here without identification from a place that has no databases, criminal or otherwise, and a political regime that wants to kill us, too. How do you think anyone can properly vet these people? With tarot cards or Ouija boards?
Obama told us that if we liked our insurance we could keep it, that Benghazi was caused by a video, that our insurance premiums would not go up, that al-Qaida was on the run. And you believe him when he tells you the refugees will all be properly vetted?
It’s disappointing that members of the Muslim community in Wichita have to try to defend themselves after these ISIS attacks. Shouldn’t we know by now that not all Muslims are terrorists?
Now gas is nearing $1.50 a gallon in some places. It’s all Obama’s fault.
Smart move, Gov. Sam Brownback and legislators, in allowing guns on state college campuses. You have aided out-of-state universities and private colleges to increase their enrollment, simultaneously helping reduce enrollment at Kansas universities. Many parents and students will ask: “Why go to a college where guns are allowed?”
Kris Kobach is barking up the wrong side of the tree. No one I talk with will admit to voting for Brownback, yet here we are.
It would have been a great Thanksgiving for Kansans if Brownback had finally admitted his policies were wrong, then corrected them. The budget would be fixed, as the rich would pay their fair share and there would be no need to extend the huge tax increases on the poor and elderly.
When the federal government offers to give you money to expand Medicaid or to improve help to the disabled, that money comes from some of the taxes that we Kansans have already paid. When we say “no” to that money, it can be spent to help citizens in other states.
I’m a single parent, working hard to provide for my kids. All you people wailing for free money and services when you are able-bodied are stealing from me, a hardworking taxpayer.
Because we all need to be offended by something these days, I am offended by Black Friday. Perhaps we should say All Races Friday.
Our vocabulary evolves over time, but I really miss “please,” “thank you” and “you’re welcome.”
You know you are getting old when your dog has a better memory than you do.
Apologies to Matt Damon – we’ve run out of room in the Opinion Line.
