Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 26)

Since conservatives are now in full overreaction mode concerning the Syrian refugees, I guess we should also stop all gun sales in the USA. We don’t want to make it too easy for a terrorist to get a gun. Better safe than sorry, right?

Knock, knock. Who’s there? Refugees. “Well, there’s no room at the inn,” said the Christians.

The attacks in Paris and around the world were truly devastating. The United States and other powerful countries need to combine their forces and take out ISIS for good. When will the body count be high enough for people to listen?

“Common sense” is but a meaningless catchphrase. Who exactly determines what is “common sense”? Liberals, of course. It’s liberal code for “whatever we say, peasants.” Don’t you all know by now that liberals know better than the rest of us what’s good for us all?

Teenage drivers should take the no-texting law more seriously. I don’t care if you are texting the president, you should pay attention to the road. The president can wait.

Using technology every day has become a priority for children ages 10 and older. Parents need to realize this can affect their school performance and social life.

To the person who asked, “Is there anything more boring than listening to people talk about their health problems and their aches and pains?”: NASCAR.
