There is too much hate in this world – for example, the recent terrorist attack in Paris. The whole world showed compassion toward Paris. We need to love more and show more compassion toward each other.
Middle Eastern couple seek refuge. Woman great with child.
God knows no borders when it comes to his children – the whole human race.
Peace through strength is always better than war through weakness.
Thanks to those Christian church leaders who recognize that the opportunity to pray on a sajjada, a prayer rug, is as sacred to Muslims as the opportunity to pray in a pew is to Christians at a public place of worship. Christ taught tolerance is the way to peace and harmony.
Split the country – conservatives to the right (east), liberals to the left (west). The left will receive immigrants and make them citizens to use the extra tax money. The right could abolish all EPA and firearm regulation and go on to establish a low-tax society. Happy, happy, happy.
I can’t wait for the massive Thanksgiving feasts this year. I’ll be about five pounds heavier within the span of three hours.
People are focusing on the gifts and presents for Christmas already. The holidays are about family and the things you are grateful for, not getting presents.
Thanks to The Eagle for that great consolidated list of Christmas activities in the Nov. 8 Arts section. With so much going on at this time of year, the list is a great help in being aware of all the choices available and in not missing events you’d regret not attending.
Anyone who chooses at least one day as “no-electronics day” will be better for it.
Downtown Wichita is underrated. The more you explore, the more you could find. Wichita is full of history.
Kudos to QuikTrip for its willingness to financially support the preservation of a historic home and to all the planners and executors of the successful move (Nov. 23 Eagle).
We would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the persons who paid for four ladies’ lunch earlier this fall at Village Inn on South Rock Road. It certainly made our day.
There are so many beautiful women in Wichita, it boggles the mind. Ladies, you are awesome.
