Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 24)

Kansas has taken the No. 1 spot in the entire country. It was confirmed that Gov. Sam Brownback is viewed by his state’s citizens as the least favorable governor in the country. I wish to thank the Republican Party and those who helped.

If there is a medicine that cures delusion, it should be added to the drinking water of everyone who voted Republican in the last election. A double dose should be added to the water supply that goes to the Legislature.

Yes, Nancy Kassebaum is a class act and came home, as she said she would. Bob Dole is a Washington insider and will never come home. When he visits, Kansans guarantee him a parade and a free breakfast in Russell. Get over Dole, folks.

Timothy McVeigh was a bad man – a terrorist, for sure. But to equate him and his singular despicable act 20 years ago with worldwide terrorist Muslim extremism is more than just silly. No – “ludicrous” is the word.

I’m more afraid of young white males who massacre innocent victims in schools and theaters than I am of refugees.

It is a fact that most Muslims are not terrorists and do not agree with the Muslims who are terrorists. If only the good Muslims would condemn the terrorists for their actions, it would stop the labeling of all Muslims as being terrorists.

Send the Syrian “refugees” to wherever it is Americans would run off to if we were fleeing terrorists here in America. Oh, wait – we wouldn’t run off to anywhere. We’d stay put and fight for our rights. The Syrians should try doing likewise.

By rejecting the Syrian refugees, you may be creating the future members of ISIS. Have you thought about that in your cowardice approach?

You are correct, Hillary Clinton: “That’s not who we are.” You get 24-hour Secret Service protection. “We” don’t.

If ISIS is the JV team, as President Obama says, we don’t want to see the varsity.

Obama insists that a coalition needs to be formed to fight ISIL on ground. Yet where is any evidence that John Kerry or anyone else in the administration is actively doing that? If anything, they are actively doing just the opposite and hoping for the best.

Remember the name Obama when you hear about your children and grandchildren being drafted to fight in the military.

No amount of money in the world will buy Donald Trump sanity.

If Trump becomes president and builds the wall, I hope there will be a door on our side, because when our country is full of Syrian refugees and illegal aliens, I could go to Mexico, which shouldn’t be very crowded. I’m too old to climb over a wall.
