While our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the Paris attacks, let’s extend those prayers to the victims of the Beirut bombings. They and their families deserve no less.

I disagree with President Obama that ISIS is under control and is only a JV team. It is Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, with their poor judgment, who are the JV team.

Old Christian hymn: “They will know we are Christians by our love, by our love.” The new Christian hymn: “They will know we are Christians by our hate, by our hate.” I know what Jesus would do.

Climate change is not going to seem very important when a terrorist bomb lands in your lap.

I notice that the Republican presidential candidates who never served a day in the military are the first ones to want to send our troops into the Middle East.

Are we worrying about the wrong thing? Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, who did the Oklahoma City bombing, were not Arabs but Middle Americans.

Apparently, some people never learned about the Trojan horse saga in their early history classes.

Karl Peterjohn is my hero and pal, as is anyone who consistently irritates The Eagle editorial board.

There are two words with the same four letters that describe Peterjohn’s remarks: evil and vile.

The students at Princeton who are demanding that Woodrow Wilson’s name be removed from buildings on campus should be expelled from the university.

“Diversity training” sounds like academic barf. It should teach how to understand another’s point of view, not try to inculcate that point of view.

“Diversity” is a code word for black privilege.

You look just as dumb with an e-cigarette in your mouth as you do with the real thing.

That supposed earthquake originating out of Oklahoma was simply the aftershock of the Tulsa-WSU basketball game.

With the performances of the WSU and KU basketball teams on Tuesday, is it possible both teams were grossly overrated?

Expel any student and athlete who punches, kicks, spits or blindsides any referee or teacher in any school in Kansas. Pro athletes have shown these kids they can do anything and get away with it.
