You are a hypocrite if you want to allow refugees from Syria, but lock the doors of your house at night or when away.

What does Gov. Sam Brownback think Jesus would have done about the refugee crisis?

All those who want the refugees in Kansas: Open up your own homes to them. Yeah, that’s what I thought. All talk and no action.

All Syrian “refugees” should be relocated in Chicago, Hawaii, Martha’s Vineyard and Washington, D.C.

Russia’s Putin says we will find ISIS and punish them. America’s Obama says we will find ISIS, have a beer, and put them on welfare.

People in Wichita make a living from manufacturing and selling airplanes to people throughout the world who practice religions other than Christianity. Ridiculous, hateful comments from county commissioners attacking Muslims have just made this job more difficult and can only result in chasing customers to manufacturers in Japan, China and Brazil.

County Commissioner Karl Peterjohn read a list of criminals whose names include “Muhammad.” I bet there have been more criminals whose names include “Karl.”

The rhetoric coming from several commissioners in the majority on the Sedgwick County Commission is fascistic.

Commissioner Peterjohn: Your copy of “Mein Kampf” is overdue at the library.

Thank you, Karl Peterjohn, for not using the “politically correct” rhetoric that comes from the career politicians who are only concerned about re-election. Americans are getting fed up with the politically correct minority.

Keep them drills rolling, boys. Them earthquakes ain’t nothing yet!

Why do Wichitans call 911 when they feel a minor earthquake? It’s not an emergency.

I like the prominence of local news in The Eagle’s new format. I don’t like the new look. The paper appears amateurish, small-townish.

I look forward to reading The Eagle each morning, and especially appreciate your excellent sports coverage. I really like your new look.

I don’t care what the celebrities have to say. Bring back the Cryptoquip and the old crossword puzzle. You’ve taken all the fun out of the paper.
