It’s time for the international community to quit namby-pambying around and take the gloves off with ISIS.
Clearly the people of France do not have enough “no-guns” signs on their doors.
We are supposed to believe our greatest danger is global warming. Well, there are now 129 people who no longer have to be concerned with that issue. Who will be next?
The U.S. is not doing what it should to halt Islamist radicals because the president is weak and indecisive, Congress cares more about thwarting Obama than stopping ISIS, and the American people are too stingy to commit the resources needed to actually do the job.
The areas in Iraq controlled by ISIS have actually been reduced. There is no one who can keep track of everyone. Terrorism cannot be defeated by the USA alone. We took the lead before and that didn’t work. What makes this any different if we try again?
Kansas politics is about as transparent as the Arkansas River.
Isn’t it interesting that our dear governor can identify failed social assistance, and not notice failed job-creating tax cuts?
I can understand the distaste for the Confederate flag. However, do you not know that the Kansas flag represents the killing of hundreds of Native Americans and the displacement of thousands? If it is convenient at the time, some atrocities are acceptable and some are not. Wow.
What is the world coming to when people pay ridiculous prices for Starbucks coffee, and then haggle over what design the cups have or do not have? Get a life, people.
Many thanks to the city, Cornejo and the utility companies for the gigantic job on 21st and Amidon and the three major intersections. It is attractive, and greatly improves traffic flow. It was done with amazingly little interruption to traffic considering the project’s complexity.
Kudos to Wichita State University for paving the wheelchair path in the disabled parking area leading to Koch Arena.
Sidewalks are called sidewalks for a reason and were made for a reason. People need to quit walking in the street and start using them.
I have seen too many young kids riding in the front passenger seat. There are laws about that, as well as the car seat and booster seat laws.
