I know how to put an end to our involvement in foreign wars: Institute a draft that picks those with the highest IQs and education levels first. Boom – our policies would change overnight.
The organizations that are forcing all these immigrants on the Wichita school district or any school district should pay for the added expense. More government mandates, in my view.
Maybe Conway Springs needs to retire its school superintendent.
I’m sure you all remember when the government stepped into your parenting skills and told you not to spank your kids when they got out of control. Welcome to the P.C. generation. Let’s just call the colleges what they are now: Crybaby U.
The politically correct are starting to eat their own. It seems only right.
MU is just the tip of the iceberg, and true liberal arts education is the Titanic steaming helplessly to destruction. We already have replaced strong, clear academics with political exercises, and trashed free speech and thought for dumbed-down speech and thought policing by the “progressives” who control academia.
Why don’t we just fire the public works employees, since we have to spend $1.7 million to figure out Wichita’s water problem? I would think the department should know the problems without costing a bundle.
The president bemoans income inequality as if someone else is responsible for Obamanomics. Obviously, his laws for Obamacare and higher taxes aren’t working and have resulted in a slow economic recovery, falling real incomes and near record inequality.
If Donald Trump is elected and builds that wall, I want to be on the side that he is not.
Where is Ted Cruz’s birth certificate? If we are going to have a Canadian president, I vote for Justin Trudeau.
I finally found the sunshine in Kansas: Sam Brownback’s fiscal fiasco is our assurance we won’t see him on the presidential stage. He’d be toast after the first question about the deficits from his failed tax policy.
If you are a legislator who disagrees with the governor, you get removed from committees? We truly are not living in a democracy in Kansas. Wake up and get the far-right-wing political bullies out of our state.
A bad idea and a big mouth are not a good combination.
All-Americans Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet, the best backcourt in the nation, the only team in the nation with three 1,000-point players, new players who are crazy talented, the best coach anywhere – does any team in Kansas want to play the Shockers? I didn’t think so.
