Add to the list of those who should rot in prison the lowlifes who damage and destroy other people’s holiday decorations and lights.
The person who wrote that “people who cannot drive at least the speed limit should not be allowed on the roads” should be told that “speed limit” means maximum speed, not minimum speed.
I’ve been around awhile, and I can tell you that most of these younger drivers don’t even possess the driving skills to drive the posted speed limit.
If you don’t want to be shot by police, then give up criminal activity.
I’m still amazed at the stupidity of the American public as shown by the protesting in support of lawbreakers. I don’t know why I should be. They elected Obama twice.
Let’s not stop with ending police shootings of unarmed citizens. We need to demilitarize our Police Department. The armored vehicle needs to go. Why do they need it?
Body cameras for all law enforcement officers are not needed, as it seems everyone has a cellphone capable of video nowadays. The only thing I don’t know is why they are not at work.
Only in America can you owe millions of dollars in back taxes only to be enlisted by the government to promote racism.
If taxpayers give President Obama money, he will spend it. Liberal politicians always do. Our president’s failed policies demonstrate that we should cut government spending and reduce taxes, which would encourage business to create private enterprise jobs. If you leave cookies on the plate, they will always get eaten.
When Gov. Sam Brownback’s devastating budget cuts inevitably reach education, Kansas areas with low levels of education will have difficulty in attracting businesses that pay higher wages. This results in young people moving away as soon as they graduate from high school.
Reading the Kansas views in The Eagle, I am left to wonder if all Kansas newspaper journalists are liberal (unlike the population, per voting results). Or does The Eagle only select the liberal quotes to promote an agenda? At least be honest and call it “Liberal Kansas views.”
This is how much WSU’s basketball program has progressed: Wichita State lost to Utah by a point. But it will be one of the highlights of Utah’s season that it beat WSU.
When WSU finally schedules anything but cupcake games, you get different results.
WSU has a great team and is blessed with an excellent coach. However, when you play ranked opponents you inevitably lose a few games, as evidenced by WSU’s only losses in 2014. Turn down the volume of the trash talk aimed at Kansas, which plays such teams regularly.
I don’t see that the new college playoff system has created any less controversy than the old BCS system. It’s still a flawed system, but does it really matter?
