Release of the CIA report is just more proof that establishment Democrats are trying to bring this nation down.
Spies torture people for information. Wow, there’s a shocker.
It is amazing how the good Christians from the Bush administration are still denying that what they did was torture, just enhanced interrogation – even though the only Republican in Congress with actual experience in this matter, John McCain, agrees with the torture report.
So the CIA is being accused of inhuman treatment of suspected al-Qaida terrorists. How about the beheading of innocent Americans and others? Or the thousands killed on Sept. 11? Why is compassion expected when none has ever been, nor will ever be, shown in return?
So to Sen. Dianne Feinstein it’s more moral to blow up an entire house of people from 10,000 feet without a trial than it is to hold a terrorist’s head underwater, something that we routinely do to our own special troops in training.
If you believe that enhanced interrogation of terrorists gained no useful information, then demand that your senators and representatives ensure that none of the information gained by the CIA will ever be used again. Yeah, right. You may not have liked the methods, but you sure like being safe.
The only entity in the U.S. government I now trust is the military.
If you don’t vote, you lose the right to complain. However, you still have the right to laugh and point fingers.
Lawyers believe a person is innocent until proven broke.
On the Brownback budget cuts: To save highway money, just put up signs at dangerous intersections and roadways saying, “Brownback says slow down.”
Do not cut funding for the Kansas Highway Patrol. Instead, cut the salary and perks of the 165 state legislators.
The guts that Kansas Senate Vice President Jeff King, a Republican, showed in his honest comments about the governor’s “raiding” of the state retirement fund were refreshing to see. I hope King doesn’t get targeted by Americans for Prosperity in his next election, but he probably will.
Why don’t Gov. Sam Brownback’s cuts mention rescinding the tax breaks for the 191,000 “job creators”?
Brownback is Obama’s fault.
If Eric Garner had been white, he would still be alive.
