I’ll bet that when Bill Cosby was young, he had good-looking women flirting with him every day. So it wouldn’t be surprising if once in awhile he misunderstood a woman’s innocent friendliness for sexual interest and behaved inappropriately.
How convenient that the “protests” – that is, rioting, looting, arson and violence – and the Bill Cosby allegations are happening. It takes the focus of the simpleminded away from Obama’s and the Democrats’ planned destruction of this country and Obama’s crime of attempting to make border-crossing criminals legal.
Coming to a 911 call center near you: “If you want a white male cop, press one. If you want a white female cop, press two. If you want a black male cop, press three. If you want a black female cop, press four....”
Why do some people want to blame the police when a criminal makes the situation go bad?
How soon we forget. After Sept. 11 everyone was praising and blessing the police for how many, along with the firemen, gave their lives assisting victims during that horrible event.

The only wars our country have ever lost were, and are, wars runs by White House think tanks and committees rather than the professionals who were, or are, actually doing the fighting.
I am so impressed by how our local science experts have disproved global warming and atmospheric smog.
It was intriguing to see Rep. Virgil Peck, R-Tyro, challenging and losing to Rep. Ray Merrick, R-Stilwell, for speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives. Cousin Eddie from “Christmas Vacation” would have been a better choice.
Oh, how very Christian to make death threats to clergy members, just because you disagree with their mission. Letting God sort this out apparently isn’t good enough.
How can we expect to reduce concussions if we continue to refer to football games as “head-to-head” confrontations?
If the University of Kansas wanted a head coach from the Mangino era, why did it not hire Mark Mangino? I guess hiring a head coach with proven success is beyond the grasp of the current athletic director.
If the Wichita Police Department has all this extra drug money to spend on body cameras, why hasn’t it been used previously to reduce the city budget? How many other slush funds are hidden at City Hall?
Wichita should drop its police helicopter and seek bids from Wichita TV stations to provide the service, since they will do almost anything to have exclusive stories. A win-win situation for police and the station.
