Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 10)

With camera at the ready, I’m still patiently waiting to see a bicycler actually putting their life on the line to use one of the new street-narrowing bike lanes.

Want to do something about the Islamic State? Don’t elect a Republican to the White House for the next 50 years.

It’s interesting that some find illegal immigration such a big story. Yet, like illegal drugs, as long as there is a big demand you’ll never stop it. Never.

So now we hear that the Department of Defense spent $43 million on a gas station in Afghanistan that was only supposed to cost $500,000. No one knows where the money went. The people who were in charge of these funds should be arrested, but the Obama administration never holds anyone accountable.
