Why is the city wasting money advertising the amenities of the new Eisenhower National Airport? Doesn’t City Hall understand that travelers determine the airport they depart from by the cost of the ticket, not amenities? Get the fares out of Wichita competitive and we will fly.
The city doesn’t have money to fix potholes that would swallow a tire, but it can paint bicycles on streets and put up new signs to designate Armour (a busy residential street) as Armour Bike Boulevard. Amazing – and stupid.
Sedgwick County EMS doesn’t need more tax support. It needs some competition. For as long as anyone can remember, it has been a legal monopoly with protection from competitors. Now is the time to change it.
If I had a child in a Conway Springs school, I would no longer have a child in a Conway Springs school.
Forced vaccinations are against the law and your constitutional rights.
How about Donald Trump for president, Ted Cruz for vice president and Ben Carson over health care? And put one of our Army leaders fired by Obama back in to oversee the military. Let’s get this country growing and strong again.
Carson said he tried to hit his mother in the head with a hammer. I don’t care how long ago it was, that is not the temperament we want in the White House.
When I consider the venom being spewed at Carson from the Republican establishment, the Democratic front-runners and even from Donald Trump, I can’t help but believe that he’s the right guy to go with.
How can so many citizens continually attack President Obama – a quality man – but then jump on the bandwagon of a presidential hopeful like Carson – a man with obvious truthfulness issues?
Clarence Thomas. Herman Cain. Ben Carson. Black conservative Republicans: Are you getting the message yet? Either be liberal and Democrat or be excoriated by the media.
Gov. Sam Brownback’s administration is about as transparent as Obama’s administration is.
Which bathroom you use should not be determined by the way you are dressed.
Wouldn’t it be great if our servicemen and women returning from duty could get a welcome home just one-thousandth the size that the Royals got for winning a baseball game?
Bigotry and hatred are communicable diseases that are often transmitted to children by their parents. The good news is that love is also.
