Try complying with legal authority’s directions and you won’t get tossed. If I acted like a fool in school, or anywhere else, I’d have caught it when I got home. Now they just want to blame law enforcement.

People need to pay attention to what’s happening. One observation is that when a company abandons the big box and rebuilds a store one-fifth the size, it employs fewer people.

Young people are in such a hurry, except when they are on their phones and plodding along at 20 mph or walking like zombies.

Every election, Republicans running for president complain that Washington is broken and full of waste, fraud and abuse – somehow conveniently ignoring that a Republican Congress has been running the country for most of the past 20 years.

Is every political cartoonist in the world left-leaning? You would think so if you only read The Eagle. Richard Crowson fits right in. How about some balance, guys? All of yours slam the right, slam the GOP, slam the conservatives, slam the Republican candidates.

Some contributors think that because the Kansas Speaks survey is done at a university, it’s students who are surveyed. Not so – it’s a random telephone sample of the whole state. There’s actually a science to this. But never mind – those contributors probably think science is just a liberal plot.
