Hold the presses: Republicans in Congress want to waste your tax dollars voting to express their displeasure with Obama. Is it possible to do less than nothing?

The dirty little secret is that Democrats who want to stay in office don’t want anything to do with immigration amnesty. The only Democrat to initiate it is the guy who can’t run again, that being Barack Obama.

Republicans are not serious about stopping illegal immigrants, just grandstanding in an attempt to make themselves look good. I know people in several states involved in construction and maintenance, and some even prefer immigrant workers.

Obama pandered to blacks and illegal immigrants, and they thought they would be given all they wanted with no cost to them. Thousands of illegals stormed our border and are swamping us financially, while millions of citizens are in need of jobs, food and shelter.

To grant amnesty to undocumented immigrants is the right, moral thing to do. And they won’t “disrupt our country” as they have already assimilated: Most know English and most work hard. They will invest in the USA instead of out of the country.

I believe that if all of our representatives (national, state and local) had to go out and pay for their own health care, we would have affordable health care for everyone in a heartbeat. But they don’t have to, so they don’t care.

We just concluded another quiet U.S. hurricane season. It was the ninth year in a row that failed to produce the major, devastating storms predicted by the global-warming hoaxers at NOAA.

How much of the $18 trillion in debt was gifted to countries that hate the USA?

If you aren’t expecting someone or you don’t recognize the visitor, don’t answer the door. It’s common sense.

The Warren Theatres shows “serious” movies only at its east-side and downtown theaters. West-siders have brains, too. Surely once in a while the Warren could spare one of its 17 screens out west for something other than slapstick humor, animation, “Hunger Games” and action movies based on comic-strip characters.

Time again for hunters to don hunter orange vests and hats to make themselves visible, and then crawl in a camouflage blind that makes them invisible. I suppose someone will have to get shot before it’s required to have orange displayed on four sides of the blind when in use.
