The National Geographic Channel recently featured a show about brain surgery. They stressed that no Democrats were used in this production.
The zombie apocalypse already happened – they ate all the Republicans’ brains.
Bernie Sanders supporters are sure to feel the “burn” in their wallets, then complain about it.
If the people who flock to see Ben Carson found themselves on his operating table, would they say, “Not you. I want your receptionist to fix my brain”? Of course not. So why would they want a doctor with no politician experience to do a politician’s work? Silly.
One contributor said we should be able to do something (I forget what), as we are the richest country in the world. The person is mistaken. The country is at least $18 trillion in debt, which will never be paid off. Now the debt ceiling will be increased. The country is bankrupt.
It’s was no witch hunt to grill Hillary Clinton over Benghazi. We learned that she and Obama concocted a false story about a video inciting the attack. Then they had the filmmaker thrown into jail on that pretense. It should scare all Americans when politicians falsely deprive anyone of their liberty.
Benghazi was not a tragedy. Iraq and Afghanistan are tragedies. More than 6,800 of our troops have died in these senseless wars. An alarming number of veterans are committing suicide. The two people responsible, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, should be the ones under investigation.
Iraq – men, women, civilians died; Bush and Cheney lied.
Don’t call what’s happening in the Middle East and Iraq “war.” With modern bombs and guns, it doesn’t take 14 years to finish off the enemy if you really want to do something about them. What we’re doing now is little more than catapulting soldiers as casualties at the enemy.
Does The Eagle editorial board support the rule of law? It seems the board has chosen the president’s route of choosing the laws that he will enforce, the people he will protect and the science he will tout, and unfortunately that science, whether pure or political, is nearly always “junk.”
So Boeing has turned a tidy profit. Who do you think will benefit from that income? Not the workers who created the profit. If it’s business as usual, you can take it to the bank that a handful of top leaders will suck up the money in big bonuses for themselves alone.
I dread cold winter nights. I can wear my three cats to bed, but they tend to hog the blanket.
After watching the morning news with all its murder, mayhem and lack of common decency, my dog got up and walked out of the bedroom. As he left he said, “Why do we even want to be your best friend?”
