The jail is not a babysitting service. People who are incarcerated are not checking into a care facility. Making sure inmates are in their cells, getting fed, meeting court dates – that is all these adults and their families should expect.
Has the city run out of money to treat the south-side waste treatment plant? It smells almost all the time now. The smell travels a long way.
I’m glad to hear my tax dollars are being spent on bike lanes, rather than on fixing the holes and cracks in the street. It makes for a lovely commute each day. Poor city spending.

We love you. Keep the peace.
Universal background checks amount to universal gun registration, and Americans won’t put up with it.
I’m a secondhand vegetarian. Cows eat grass; I eat cows.
Soon no one will volunteer to coach children’s sports because of bullying by parents. You can’t say a word to these kids or try to promote good sportsmanship.
