If the police officer in Ferguson, Mo., had gone to trial and been found innocent, would there have been a different riotous response?
Tell me how rioting and looting and burning will bring peace. It only hurt innocent people in Ferguson. And the media make it worse. Come together and bring peace and love.
The Ferguson protests based upon a blatant lie have spread across the nation. Jonathan Gruber must feel vindicated.
Your civil rights end when you violate my civil rights by blocking streets, preventing me from driving on a public road.
Protesters blocking thoroughfares should be locked up.
Did Missouri’s governor let Ferguson burn? You might think so. He called up the National Guard, but didn’t mobilize it the night of Michael Brown’s grand jury decision.

Since when does columnist Cal Thomas care about black people? Only when he can criticize the head black man in charge.
Our Mr. Hope and Change has moved on to divide and conquer.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see an executive order renaming the White House as the Barackingham Palace.

It seems like those who voted for Sam Brownback fell for his story about not having a budget shortfall. I knew about it through all of 2014. Am I the only one who reads the newspaper and watches the news?
So Brownback did not know we were headed toward a fiscal shortfall? Please get him a subscription to The Eagle. The paper has pointed out the shortfall every week for several months. Everyone who voted for Brownback: Please leave the state.
On the campaign trail, Brownback called concerns about the state’s finances “a bunch of lies” and said he did not know the state would hit a budget shortfall. Really? And, to think 50 percent of the voters bought into that line.
To all the people who gripe about other people’s ways, hobbies, views, etc.: I don’t like nosy, judgmental snakes. Please refrain from doing this in the newspaper I read.
I want the same health care that Pat Roberts gets.
News that should not be news: People who can afford health insurance have been paying for those who can’t since long before the ACA became law.
