Sebelius for president?

Writer and humorist P.J. O’Rourke included one novel Democratic option in his list of the top 10 candidates for president in 2016 – Kathleen Sebelius, formerly secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and Kansas governor. “Voters aren’t dummies. They know the government doesn’t work. Why run a candidate who lies about making government work better when you’ve got a candidate who’s already proven she can make government work worse?” he wrote for the Daily Beast, recalling how Sebelius responded to the HealthCare.gov fiasco by telling Americans, “You deserve better. I apologize.” O’Rourke went on: “As a moment of political candor it’s not up there with former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s ‘I was drunk and smoking crack.’ But it’s more honest than what we usually hear from politicians. And having been governor of Kansas should give her a leg up in the Iowa caucuses because nobody, including residents of Kansas and Iowa, can tell Iowa and Kansas apart.” – Rhonda Holman
