Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 3)

Ted Cruz, go home. Your home country just elected a liberal government. And by the way, where is your birth certificate, Canuck?

Cruz saying that “if you’ve never voted in a Republican primary in your life, you don’t get to moderate a Republican primary debate” is just another clear example of Republicans wanting to control every aspect of our lives.

At least the Republicans are willing to debate. That’s more than I can say for the Democrats, who try to avoid debates. I would love to see the Democrats face a Fox panel of questions.

CNBC proved as moderators of the Republican debate what has been obvious for years. They are biased toward the left and do not perform the job they are supposedly in business to do.

Ben Carson’s use of Nazi analogies has been wholly inaccurate. He might as well say that because Adolf Hitler was a Catholic, then all American Catholics can’t be trusted any better than American Muslims.

Democrats have learned to be social thugs and get the backing by a misguiding media.

If mindless opinions without factual support were ruled out, especially from Obama haters, this column would shrivel.

Wanting everyone to have health care and food only makes you a good person if you pay for it with your own money, instead of stealing it from others to do your charitable deeds.

The local media have a love affair with the Kochs. I personally do not buy into their ideology or propaganda.

Sam Brownback, Pat Roberts, etc., are what happens when normal people don’t vote.

All I really know for sure is: Most liberals are bullies.

Pews are not a Christian symbol. They are just church furniture. Many of the huge European cathedrals where Christians have worshipped for a thousand years have always had chairs for seating.

The raving lunatic who stopped me on 13th Street Friday to criticize my driving needs to know two things: My mother, as you indicated, was not involved, and we made it to the hospital in time in spite of your interference. Check out some anger management classes, please.

I see so many otherwise beautiful women defacing themselves with tattoos and piercings. Why would you vandalize yourselves like that? It looks utterly bizarre and decidedly unattractive.

The other night I was watching a Viagra commercials marathon that kept getting interrupted by the Royals baseball game. Talk about frustrating.

I didn’t lose my mind. Half of it wandered off and the other half went to find it.

January is coming up in about two months. Time to start thinking of my new resolutions – or start on this year’s.
