The Kansans in Congress who voted for the Keystone XL pipeline should be required to be the first responders into the Ogallala Aquifer for the cleanup of a leak from the pipeline.

At least Kansas House Speaker Ray Merrick admits that he and the rest of the Republican Legislature do nothing.
Think twice about doing away with the county manager’s job and assistants and giving the duties to the five elected commissioners. With officials being voted in and having to cast ballots on things, and then being put in charge of one particular thing, that would open the door to chaos.
What gives people the right to impose their religious views on others?
So, the people of Kansas voted their conscience to declare a marriage is between a man and a woman. I would wager that Southerners voted their conscience in supporting slavery. Same old Christian conservative argument.
It amazes me that wildlife authorities will put people in jail for killing a few extra birds by mistake, but couldn’t care less about migrating birds cut up by those huge windmills. We need to stop that.
How shameful that OU was allowed to run up the score against outmatched KU. Imagine the hurt and humiliation those poor Jayhawk football players must have felt while being seen on national TV.
The reason WSU scheduled a regular season basketball game with Newman University is quite obvious. This game actually improved the Shockers’ strength of schedule, since they play in the extremely weak Missouri Valley Conference.
