“Insufficient research available to say what has caused the increase in the number of quakes”? Seriously? We all know good and well what is causing them. Let’s face the facts about the fracking process.
If the city issued a limited number of in-town hunting licenses to trained and certified hunters, they could provide meat to feed the homeless. They also would clear open spaces of the foul amphibious fowl that serve no purpose other than functioning as feathered fertilizer factories, referred to as geese.
I can’t imagine taking a high-risk job with the government knowing I might come home debilitated with a future of some of the worst health care in America. Shame on the U.S. government. Jonathon Blank is an inspiration (Nov. 27 Eagle).
Iraqis lived in horror under Saddam Hussein. Then they lived in horror during the U.S. occupation. Now they live in horror from the brutality of ISIS. What has been accomplished by the billions spent and still being spent by the U.S.?
Very few of the illegal immigrants are refugees. Regardless, we have no legal nor moral imperative to allow them in to disrupt our country.
History will record Barack Obama as the Jackie Robinson No. 42 of the presidency – one of the best with all the odds and racists against him. I’m thankful for his service.
So does the Keystone XL pipeline being stonewalled by the president for six years mean the House should just go ahead and build it without his consent? It’s called checks and balances, not circumventing the Constitution.
I just heard the new “Star Wars” movie has a cameo appearance by Obama declaring, “May the farce be with you.”
I will be voting “no” on any pro-marijuana law, primarily because dopers annoy me. They whoop and holler about weed’s medicinal purposes, but all they want is to get high without repercussions.
People who take handicap parking when they don’t really need it are morally handicapped.
You can run all the commercials you want trying to make your Japanese, German and Korean cars look like they are American, but they are still foreign-engineered cars with the profits going to their foreign companies.
I once owned a spiffy little sports car with a loud Hollywood muffler. Then I grew up.
