Kansas Secretary of State and part-time anti-immigration attorney Kris Kobach likely will spearhead a legal challenge of President Obama’s executive action on immigration, the Washington Post reported. Kobach expects to file a lawsuit this month on behalf of several states (Texas likely is the best candidate, he says) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents (who, he says, are being forced to violate the country’s immigration laws). “Either we win this way or we lose big,” Kobach said, who added this ugly farm-animal allusion: “If that happens, all of these illegal aliens will be eligible to feed at the trough filled by hardworking American people.” – Phillip Brownlee
