Kris Kobach and the Sedgwick County election commissioner smell really bad. Their unwillingness to allow a voting machine tape audit of very questionable voting results flies in the face of Kobach’s highly public political platform against voting fraud.
Gov. Sam Brownback did not say, “Let them eat cake,” but I think he’s mad at himself for not being the first to think of it. He has 18 percent public approval after a stunning 49 percent re-election vote.
Our grandchildren will be facing a certain future military draft implementation if progressives keep ruining our country.
We don’t need to prepare for a zombie apocalypse. We need to prepare for an angry white male apocalypse. Oh, wait – it’s already here.
Only a fool would consent to be interviewed on “Fox News Sunday.” The host constantly interrupts his interviewees and refuses to let them complete the answer. Get a new host, Fox News. The current one is too sold on himself and is totally rude to his guests.
Wanting everyone to have health care and food does not make you a communist, socialist or unpatriotic. It just makes you a good person.
The corporate world is squeezing everyone and eroding freedom. It does not work for the vast majority. Somewhere along the line people will resort back to the land. The corporate world may eventually crumble. We can then become a free world.
About the only thing that we as citizens can hold over elected officials or government employees are the taxes that we pay. And when taxes are gone, and someday that will happen, then those elected will be beholden only to special interest groups, and not to the majority of us.
To anyone needing a “home address” in District 4 so that you can sign the Richard Ranzau recall petition: I have a recliner and room you can rent.

As I sat through the Thunder game at Intrust Bank Arena last Friday night, I found myself really envious of all the former season ticket holders who didn’t renew for this season.
Ford: Stop with the ridiculous advertisements that your vehicles are impervious to the forces of Mother Nature. She will kick your butt every time. And if you disagree, just consider the number of deaths each year of those stupid enough to think they were “unstoppable.”
A better idea than issuing more speeding tickets would be to start issuing tickets for those who go through red lights late. Those offenders are a lot more likely to maim or kill.
