One reason why state revenues continue to be down is that tens of thousands of Kansans are shopping in neighboring states because Gov. Sam Brownback increased the sales tax to protect his tax cuts.
If Donald Trump becomes president and the world erupts into a big war, so be it. Maybe that’s what needs to happen.
Donald Trump was right. George W. Bush did not keep us safe. Sept. 11 happened on his watch. Jeb Bush cannot change the facts. If some of you can blame everything that happens while Obama is president on him, some of us can blame Sept. 11 on George Bush.
True, there are none so blind as those who cannot see. They’re blind. But as for you lefties: There are none so blind as those who will not see.
The Benghazi committee set out on a witch hunt and, by golly, it found one.
Liberals should all be forced to take Accounting 101. They claim taxpayers are spending $4.7 million on the Benghazi investigation. Those supporting the investigation were employed by the government before the investigation and will still be on the government payroll afterward. The $4.7 million is not additional money.
If Hillary Clinton hasn’t done anything wrong regarding Benghazi, then why did she need a high-powered attorney while she appeared before that committee?
While, uh, watching the, um, Benghazi hearings, uh, I would, uh, have, um, thought that, uh, maybe someone, um, on Hillary’s staff, um, would have told her, uh, that her, uh, inability to, um, speak coherently may well, uh, lead some to, uh, think she, um, was being, uh, evasive.
Now I’d like to see an 11-hour congressional hearing into something that really matters – the exorbitant hikes in cancer drug prices. I don’t think the GOP cares about that, though.
Mike Pompeo tried to show how tough he could be while grilling Hillary Clinton during the Benghazi hearings. He only succeeded in looking foolish. Most of the panel looked ignorant while asking stupid, irrelevant questions.
Pompeo was coming close to coming off as a Huelskamp-type politician in the Benghazi hearings. We Kansans don’t need more embarrassment.
Pompeo – what an embarrassing person for Kansas to have representing our state.
The only thing I learned during the Benghazi hearing was that Trey Gowdy sweats a lot.
The Benghazi panel questioned Clinton for 11 hours with only a couple of breaks. Do we even question war criminals that length of time?
About a comment that our “rich” country should not worry about feeding children: Look to the national debt calculator, which reads $18 trillion owed, and counting.
I wonder how long it will be before these couples who think tiny houses are so great get divorced because of too much togetherness.
