Rep. Mike Pompeo’s grilling of Hillary Clinton was a prime example of the waste of time and millions of taxpayers’ dollars to conduct a witch hunt.
The Benghazi committee is indeed a witch hunt. It’s all political. I’m embarrassed to say I voted for Pompeo.
It’s hard to believe the American people would vote for someone not smart enough to keep government and personal e-mails separate, supposedly because there was so much going on and she didn’t stop to think. Do we need a president who can’t think when there is a lot going on?
After Clinton’s testimony, it is evident we will be electing someone who doesn’t tell the truth. Not a big deal for those who depend on the Democrats to keep them clothed and fed, but really a sad saga for America and the rest of us.
I, for one Kansan, am extremely disturbed that not one of our representatives was fired when Boeing got us to back its tanker bid, and then kicked us under the bus by leaving the state.
The Pentagon says the U.S. dropped 50 tons of ammunition to Syrian Arabs and doesn’t know who actually got it. Too bad it wasn’t 50 tons of bombs dropped on ISIS terrorists.
How many companies made a fortune off the Vietnam War?
Social democracies are great. The employed send 50 to 60 percent of their income to the government for redistribution among all, after deducting the generous salaries and benefits of many government workers.
Government grants are stupid. Think about how silly the government grant process really is, especially at the state and federal levels. They want you to apply for money you sent them. It makes far more sense to keep the bulk of the tax money in the communities it comes from.
It seems our president intentionally discredited all law enforcement, has set race relations back 40 years and done his best to start a race war, and now wants to take guns away from the law-abiding citizens. It’s hard for me to understand.
When will Republicans stop lying about gun control? Nobody wants to confiscate guns from law-abiding people. But if you have no way to do background checks or plug the gun show loophole, you can’t stop criminals, terrorists or the mentally unstable from getting guns. So you are on their side.
Yes, I feel so much safer with concealed carry. Especially since an ex-military cop carried a loaded gun into a Salina theater in his pocket and managed to shoot himself.
